Unfortunately due to the Cessation of Funding by Skillnets Ltd as a result of Government Cuts and without due warning, the Spa & Welness Skilnet has closed down with immediate effect with resultant job losses. ILAM as The Industry Body for Sports, Fitness, Outdoor, Aquatic Facilities, Spas & Wellness is still seeking any other funding, but will in any event try and provide low cost training and networking for all Spas in ILAM membership. The Spa & Wellness Skillnet is a not-for-profit organisation that has been established to deliver much needed business training to the spa and wellness sector throughout 2008 and 2009 with the help of funding from the Dept. of Enterprise, Trade & Employment through Skillnets.
